LONDON – Pumpkin Patch has a bunch of markets to cash on – the whole Asian region is showing a boom these days. Rapidly growing economies of China, India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, make Asia a very promising expansion field.

Both revenues and net income fell to a point of NZD 174 M and NZD 8.1 M respectively in January 31 2011. Australia plays as the major retarding force. FY 2010 results were also a flop. A decrease by 7.3% in revenues showed company’s slow down. Pumpkin Patch stock price dropped after the announcement of unaudited FY 2011 results. The company suffered NZD 1.88 M net loss and a 6.7% decrease in sales to NZD 338 M.

Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Auckland (Australia), Pumpkin Patch engages in design, production and distribution of children fashion apparel. It has four brands – Pumpkin Patch, Urban Angel, Patch Maternity and Charlie&Me. It operates about 250 stores in New Zealand, Australia, UK, Ireland, and USA.
