Financial services encompass various services or products offered to businesses/consumers by specialized finance institutions in order to facilitate different financial transactions and some other related business activities. Stock brokerages, banks, insurance and credit card companies, certain government-sponsored enterprises, investment funds are among the key participants on the financial services market.
Four basic groups of financial services can be distinguished: broker, wealth management, investment and business banking services. Some other kinds include venture capital, leasing, debt resolution, equity funds, financial advice from experts, etc.
