Globally, FLNG industry is expected to attract $XX.X Billion investments between XXXX and XXXX. Among regions, Asia Pacific will witness the maximum investments in floating LNG, driven by large number of planned liquefaction and Regasification projects. Between XXXX and XXXX, we expect $XX.X Billion to flow into Asia Pacific, followed by North America ($XX.XX Billion), South and Central America ($X.X Billion), Middle East ($X.X Billion), Europe ($X.X Billion) and Africa ($X.X Billion).

As of October 2013, ten countries have active floating regasification units. Together,these regasification markets have fourteen terminals with a total capacity of XX.X mtpa.

Amidst increasing importance of the floating terminals, the industry scope is expected to widen in the near to medium term future. By XXXX, seven new liquefaction markets and XX new regasification markets will join the trade. Accordingly, the global floating liquefaction capacity will increase to XX.X mtpa and global floating regasification capacity to XXX.X mtpa in XXXX.

Amidst fluctuations in natural gas prices and uncertainty of consumption, FLNG terminals are being preferred by most of LNG developers. The commercial case for FLNG becomes even better due to smaller capacity of the projects, lower costs and reduced time for start up.

As of October 2013, total of XX terminals are active with import capacity of XX.X mtpa. Due to the advantages of floating terminals, the industry is growing quickly. Accordingly, XX terminals are planned across the world. These XX new terminals together have an import capacity of XXX mtpa.

On the liquefaction front, the FLNG industry is consolidated in nature. A total of 19 companies will have presence in the global FLNG industry by 2020. Of these 19, top five companies will hold 64% by 2020.
