It offers aluminium oxide products used for the machining of metal and wood surfaces; silicon carbide products used for machining of glass, minerals, ceramics, china, stone, titanium, varnishes, brass, bronze, and steel sheets; and non-woven products for the machining of various surfaces and finishing works. The company also provides VSM ceramics products, zirconia alumina products, and compactgrain products. Its products are used in various applications, including fittings, cylinders, wood, turbines, general engineering, glass, parquet, tools, forgings and stampings, castings, food processing equipment, sanitary fittings, tubes and pipes, vehicle bodies, and sheets and coils. The company was founded in 1864 and is based in Hannover, Germany.
