Fursultiamine (adventan, alinamin F, diteftin, judolor, linamin, TTFD, thiamintetrahydrofurfuryldisulfid) is a disulfide derivative of thiamine, or an allithiamine. The molecular formula of fursultiamine is C17H26N4O3S2. It is a colorless product with a melting point of 130-136°C.

Fursultiamine was first obtained in the 1960s in Japan. The main purpose of fursultiamine production was to develop new forms of thiamine with improved lipophilicity for treating vitamin B1 deficiency. Currently, fursultiamine is commercialized in Japan, Spain, Germany, Austria and the USA.

Clinical trials of fursultiamine have been carried out for Alzheimer's disease and autistic spectrum disorders. Fursultiamine improves energy metabolism during exercise and reduces exercise-induced fatigue. The compound has medical applications, namely in the treatment of vitamin B1 deficiency, muscular pain, arhralgia, cardiomuscular metabolic disorders, post-operative intestinal paralysis, neuralgia.

The product has potential side effects such as skin, eye, mouth, throat irritations.
