Apparel Specialist Retailers in Finland
Apparel specialist retailers grew by 3% in current value terms in 2012 to reach sales of €1.8 billion. This growth rate was similar to that of the previous year but stronger than the decline of 2% in 2009 when the recession took its toll on the channel. Due to heavy competition, in 2012 many stores updated their concepts and improved their store layouts in order to attract consumers. Growth was also driven by both fashion collections and budget brands.

Euromonitor International's Apparel Specialist Retailers in Finland report offers insight into key trends and developments driving the industry. The report examines all retail channels to provide sector insight. Channels include hypermarkets, supermarkets, discounters, convenience stores, mixed retailers, health and beauty retailers, clothing and footwear retailers, furniture and furnishing stores, DIY and hardware stores, durable goods retailers, leisure and personal goods retailers.
