The report focuses on (1) pinna and external auditory canal surgeries: e.g. incision on the outer ear; resection of the pinna; plastic correction of prominent ears, (2) microsurgical operations on middle ear: e.g. revision of stapedectomy; myringoplasty; tympanoplasty, (3) other middle and inner ear surgeries: e.g. paracentesis (myringotomy); removal of a tympanostomy tube; mastoidectomy; cochlear implant devices; direct acoustic cochlear implants (DACI).

Altogether data for over 200 specific ear surgeries are presented in this report.

The report provides a general overview, plus data by federal state and procedures per 100.000 inhabitants per federal state. Furthermore the “Top 5 performers' - hospitals with the most ear surgeries - are identified. These data will support strategic business decisions and guide sales activities.
