The HTI market comprises ceramic fibers, insulation fire bricks, and others. These materials are used for insulation purposes in various end-user industries to avoid heat loss and to save energy.

Ceramic fibers comprise alumina-silica composition, held together by an inorganic binder. It is commonly used as a refractory material. Its lightweight, low-density properties make it ideally suited for high temperature applications requiring low thermal mass. Ceramic fiber products can withstand very high temperatures and corrosive environments.

Ceramic fibers, also known as alumino-silicate glass wool , are produced by melting a combination of Al2O3 and SiO2, usually in a weight ratio XX:XX.

IFB comprises alumina-silica composition, along with organic fillers, to provide controlled pore structure. It is commonly used as an insulating material for the high temperature areas, such as blast furnace and kiln, in several end-user industries. IFB can withstand very high temperatures, even those exceeding 1,700⁰C.

IFB are produced by melting a combination of alumina (Al2O3) and silica (SiO2) in different proportion, along with some organic filler, to make it suitable for wide range of temperatures in different applications.

Calcium silicate boards, also known as calsil boards, are products formed by reaction of amorphous silica and quicklime in a matrix reinforced by harmless fibers. The high open porosity and very tiny pores increase its thermal insulating property, making it an excellent insulating material for applications up to 1,100°C

Alumina fibers are high-purity polycrystalline fibers comprising of aluminum oxide (Al2O3) and silica (SiO2) in the ratio of XX:XX. Alumina fibers are designed for use in applications ranging from 1,400°C to 1,600°C. High level of alumina and low level of silica ensure its chemical stability in majority of industrial process, making it highly resistant to chemical attacks.
