Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo), formerly Ethiopian Electric Light and Power Authority, is a state-owned power utility based in Ethiopia. The company carries out power generation, transmission and distribution. The company has an installed capacity of more than 45,000 MW for hydro power, wind power with more than 10,000 MW and geo-thermal with more than 5,000 MW. EEPCo owns and operates 10,884.23 km of transmission lines. The company has two electric energy supply systems, namely, Interconnected System (ICS) and the Self Contained System (SCS). EEPCo is headquartered in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The strategic intent of EEPCo is to expand its geographical operations and enter potential market. In line with this growth strategy, the company signed export agreement with the South Sudan Electric Utility Corporation, to install transmission line in the southern regions of Sudan.
