  • Business interests, alternatives and real estate recorded growth during the review period, at respective rates of 36.1%, 21.7% and 17.5%.
  • Alternative assets held by Indian HNWIs increased from 7.7% to 8% between 2010 and 2014. HNWI allocations to commodities remained same at 4.5% of total assets during this period.
  • WealthInsight expects allocations in commodities to decline over the forecast period to reach 3.4% of total HNWI assets by 2019.
