LONDON – is happy to announce that new country risk studies prepared by BMI RESEARCH can now be found in its online catalogue.

In Gambia, economic growth is expected to be weak throughout 2016 given ongoing border dispute with Senegal and issues associated with election-related unrest. Growth is forecast to be higher in 2017 due to an increase in the number of tourists coming to the country and political risk subsides.

In the Bahamas, the economy is set to demonstrate low, but sustainable growth over the next ten years, and the tourism sector will be the major force driving it. Inflation is expected to stay stable owing to subdued domestic private consumption and a fall of oil prices. It is expected to average 2.1 percent per annum.

In Brunei, the local economy is unlikely to show healthy growth in the near term since it was severely hit by the oil prices’ collapse. Inflation in this country is expected to stay around zero in the years to come, while consumer price inflation is forecast to increase by 0.1 percent on average over the period 2016-2025.

In Cyprus, weak external environment, public sector austerity, competitive pressures on disposable incomes and other adverse factors are set to challenge the economy. Real GDP is expected to grow by 1.9 percent in 2016. The local economic activity is set to continue recovering in 2016.

The research reports offer comprehensive discussion of different countries’ risks. The studies contain detailed economic outlooks of each country. They limelight current economic situation and outline possible future development trends.  The reports forecast GDP growth, net exports, government consumption, and more.
