Bell Equipment Ltd. To Present New Dump Truck According to BAC Report

LONDON - Bell Equipment has recently announced its plans to showcase B60D, its new 60-tonne Articulated Dump Truck, at the first Bauma Africa expo. Unlike a regular ADT, the new truck uses two driven axles, therefore embodying 4x4 capability. B60D is supposed to hold much more stuff than a traditional ADT, providing lower cost per ton and better off-road usability compared to rigid haulers. Bell Equipment will also display E-series ADT, new B50D Ejector, MPH 600 soil stabilizer, advanced Fleetm@tic system and many more innovative solutions at the Bauma Africa.

Bell has earned a stable market position in South Africa, spreading its presence onto other world markets. South Africa generated 44% of all company’s revenues during the first half of 2013. Other African countries contributed 29%, Europe scored 18%, and rest of world added 9%. The half-year period was successful for Bell Equipment: revenue amounted ZAR 3 B, gross profit equaled ZAR 762.8 M, operating and net income comprised ZAR 218.9 M and ZAR 148.4 M, respectively. These results improve the numbers of previous periods. During financial year 2012 Bell scored increasing sales but declining incomes. Revenue and gross profit grew by 11.8% and 5.1% to ZAR 5.7 B and ZAR 1.3 B, respectively. Operating and net income lost 16.2% and 18.5%, respectively, and amounted ZAR 364.9 M and ZAR 224.8 M.
