The proved oil & gas reserves of Top 20 North America Independent Exploration and Production (E&P) Companies increased at a CAGR of 1.6% from 2008 to 2012, rising to 41,315 mmboe from 38,740 mmboe. Continental Resources Inc reserves recorded a CAGR of 49% during 2008-2012, increasing its proved oil & gas reserves from 159 mmboe to 785 mmboe.

Conocophillips with proved Oil & Gas reserves of 8,642 Million Barrels of oil equivalent (mmboe) at the end of 2012 had the largest portfolio of proved oil and gas reserves among the Top 20 North America Independent Exploration and Production (E&P) Companies.
