Formula:C14H12O8
Molecular Weight:308.24028

Fulvic acid is a natural acidic organic polymer with the molecular formula C14H12O8 and molecular weight 308.24. The acid exists as an odorless yellow solid that is soluble in methanol, benzene and insoluble in water. The product is obtained from humus that is found in soil, aquatic environments and sediment. Fulvic acid contains supercharged antioxidants, super oxide dismutases, hormones, bio-chemicals, amino acids, natural fungicides, etc. The acid is a product of microbial metabolism.

Direct contact of fulvic acid with the eyes may result in transient discomfort followed by conjunctival redness and tearing. Fulvic acid can hardly cause severe skin irritation or damage but still some slight side effects to the skin are possible. Ingestion of the acid may lead to the gastrointestinal tract discomfort characterized by vomiting and nausea. Inhalation of fulvic acid may produce airway diseases and conditions such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis in people with impaired respiratory function. Prolonged or repeated exposure to high concentrations of fulvic acid dust can cause changes in lung function.

The product protects the human body from free radicals that get into the body through the food and from environmental toxins. Fulvic acid acts as electrolyte that balances the minerals that drive neurons in the brain. The acid plays a role in enhancing the availability and absorption of nutrients, promoting plants sprout and growth. The product finds its application in the industrial production, horticulture, agriculture, water treatment, etc. Moreover, the acid is used in RNA and DNA synthesis.

Fulvic acid market is covered in the study Fulvic Acid (CAS 479-66-3) Market Research Report 2023. The report encompasses proper description of the product, unveils application areas, and briefly summarizes patents in the sphere. It overlooks fulvic acid market situation, names manufacturers, suppliers as well as users. The report also provides current fulvic acid prices in the market.
