Feed phosphates are added into animal feed to improve the quality in terms of nutrient content, optimized animal performance, enhanced feed digestibility, preventative health maintenance, and to improve the quality of products derived from animals. Feed phosphate is prepared from a mixture of phosphoric acid and calcium carbonate/calcium sulphate. It is the best source of phosphorus essential for development of livestock.
