Fire accidents cause damages that are irretrievable; they result in lost lives, assets, and resources. To avoid fire damages, fire alarms, sprinklers, and extinguishers are installed in buildings, which work as primary equipment in minimizing fire accidents, if occurred. The increased risk of fire accidents is driving the demand for the Fire Protection Systems (FPS) market globally. The FPS market has experienced continuous advancements in the fire protection technology. FPS manufacturers are investing significant amounts on R&D and are offering innovative and efficient fire protection products to customers.

The fire protection techniques take two forms, namely active and passive fire protection systems. The active fire protection systems produce a response in the event of a fire; for example, the fire detectors trigger fire alarms, sprinkler systems, and extinguishers in the event of fire. The fire protection market is segmented as per the fire protection products. It includes fire detection, fire management, fire analysis, and fire response products. The fire detection products’ category comprises fire sensors or detectors, including flame detectors, smoke detectors, and heat detectors. The fire management products include control panels, interfaces, fire sprinklers, and fire extinguishers. Fire analysis is an important part of fire protection as it facilitates informed decisions, which lead to maximum efficiency. Fire analysis particularly takes two forms, namely fire mapping and analysis software as well as fire modeling and simulation software. Fire response systems are activated simultaneously with fire management systems so as to prevent fire quickly.
