Silicon Dioxide (Silica White and Aerosil) Market Research in the CIS

The report presents an overview of the market of precipitated and pyrogenic silicon dioxide in the CIS countries. The report has been prepared on the basis of study and analysis of data of the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation (FSSS of the Russian Federation), Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation (FCS of the Russian Federation), official statistics of domestic railage in the Russian Federation, the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, State Customs Service of Ukraine, Inter-State Statistics Committee of CIS, as well as data of InfoMine. The report consists of 6 chapters, contains 95 pages, including 41 tables, 17 figures and 2 annexes.

The first chapter of the report presents information about the technology of production of precipitated and pyrogenic silicon dioxide and required resources.

The second chapter is devoted to analysis of production of silicon dioxide in the CIS. This chapter presents the requirements of the existing normative-technical documentation for the quality of silicon dioxide (pyrogenic and precipitated), statistics of production of these products in 1995-2010, estimates regional pattern of the production, describes the basic producers of silicon dioxide. In addition, the second chapter of the report contains forecast of production of silicon dioxide in Russia up to 2015.

The third chapter analyses the foreign trade operations in silicon dioxide in Russia and Ukraine. It presents data on exports and imports of the product, estimates regional pattern of the supplies.

The fourth chapter presents data on prices on precipitated silica in the Russian domestic market, and analyzes data on changes in export and import prices on this product in Russia and Ukraine.

In the fifth chapter of the report supply-demand balance of silicon dioxide in Russia is presented, estimate of the sectoral structure of consumption of the product is given, factors governing demand for silica at domestic market have been analyzed, the basic end-uses and enterprise-customers are described.

The sixth chapter of the report presents supply-demand balance of silicon dioxide in Ukraine and Belarus.
