Summit Resources Limited engages in the exploration and evaluation of uranium projects in Australia.

The company, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Summit Resources (Aust) Pty Ltd (SRA), controls approximately 3,159 square kilometers of tenements in three project areas centred on the city of Mount Isa in north-west Queensland. The Isa North Project covers approximately 1,360 square kilometers and hosts uranium prospects, including the Valhalla, Skal, and Bikini deposits.

ISA Uranium Joint Venture

The Isa Uranium Joint Venture (IUJV) covers ground containing the Valhalla and Skal uranium deposits, centred 40km north of Mount Isa in Queensland. Participants in the Joint Venture are SRA and Mount Isa Uranium Pty Ltd (MIU), each holding a 50% interest, with SRA managing the Joint Venture. Ground subject to the IUJV covers 17 square kilometers at Valhalla and 10 square kilometers at Skal. These two areas lie within a holding of contiguous tenements covering 1,356 square kilometers held 100% by SRA.

Mount ISA North Uranium Project

The Mount Isa North uranium project is located 10 to 70km north and east of Mount Isa. In addition to Valhalla and Skal, the two uranium resources in the Project are Bikini and Andersons. The company focuses on assessment and exploration of airborne radiometric anomalies produced from radiometric and magnetic surveys flown in 2008.

ISA North mining rights agreement with MM Mining Pty Ltd

The company, in October 2008, had entered into a mining rights agreement with MM Mining Pty Ltd (MM Mining) to enable MM Mining to explore for, and potentially recover, base metals on certain areas within the company’s Isa North tenements.

Western ISA Base Metals JV with MM Mining

The company, in December 2007, entered into a farm-in and joint venture agreement with a wholly owned subsidiary of MM Mining Plc. Under this agreement, MM Mining can acquire 80% of the company’s interest in tenements that make up the Isa South, May Downs, Mt Kelly, and Constance Range projects. The company retains the right to explore for uranium deposits on these tenements.
