Properties

The company has a Platinum Group Metals (PGM) portfolio located in the eastern and western Bushveld of South Africa.

Garatau Project

The Garatau Project consists of two contiguous properties Garatouw 282KT and De Kom 252KT. These farms are located adjacent to three operating mines: the Marula Mine of Impala Platinum, Smokey Hills Mine of Platinum Australia, and Anglo Platinum’s Modikwa Mine. The company completed a total of 60 diamond drill holes totalling 75,000 meters.

Tubatse Project

The Tubatse project consists of three contiguous properties Hoepakrantz 291KT, Nooitverwacht 324KT, and Eerste Geluk 327KT. These farms are an extension to south of the two Garatau Project farms and are located down dip to the adjacent Anglo Platinum’s Modikwa platinum mine. The company has completed a total of 40 boreholes totaling 25,500m of core on the Tuba/tse Project.

Joint Venture with Xstrata

Xstrata South Africa (Xstrata) signed a binding heads of agreement with the company and Genorah Resources (Pty) Ltd (Genorah), granting Xstrata an exclusive option to acquire a 50% interest in five PGM properties (collectively, the farms Hoepekrantz, Nooitverwacht, Eerste Geluk, Garatouw, and De Kom) situated on the eastern Limb of the Bushveld Igneous Complex.

Disposition

The company sold its Kliprivier, Ghost Mountain, and Tinderbox Prospects.
