Properties

Black Rock and Monte Neva Geothermal Properties

The company owns a 100% interest three US Federal geothermal leases totaling 6582 acres in two properties located in the state of Nevada.

The Black Rock Lease consists of three contiguous Sections (777ha) 13 kilometers northeast of the community of Gerlach in the Black Rock Desert area in north-western Pershing County, approximately 135 kilometers north of the City of Reno.

The Monte Neva Lease Group consists of 2 leases forming a combination of contiguous and non-contiguous Section fractions (1,887ha), 45kilometers north of the Town of Ely in central White Pine County, in the order of 440 kilometers east of Reno.

La Jara Mesa Extension Property

The company also owns a 100% interest in the La Jara Mesa Extension uranium property consisting of 137 unpatented mining claims (approximately 2,740 acres) in the Grants Mining District, Cibola County, New Mexico. The La Jara Mesa deposit is located 18 kilometers northeast of Grants within the San Mateo Mountains in the southern part of New Mexico.

Dispositions

In February 2010, the company completed the sale of the Argentine subsidiary, United Energy Metals SA (UEM), to Patagonia Resources Ltd.

History

The company was founded in 2002. It was formerly known as Lakefield Ventures Inc. and changed its name to Urex Energy Corporation in 2006. Further, it changed its name to Mustang Geothermal Corporation on July 22, 2010.
