In addition, it undertakes construction projects, including housing, industrial, hi-tech, and public buildings. Further, Electra Ltd. manages commercial and private real estate properties, including malls, office towers, protected housing complexes, car parks, and public buildings, as well as invests in income-producing and residential real estate. The company was formerly known as Electra (Israel) Ltd. and changed its name to Electra Ltd. in 2003. Electra Ltd. was founded in 1945 and is based in Ramat Gan, Israel.
