As a non-renewable resource and one of the most important fertilizers, phosphorus is crucial to human beings. Thus the utilization of phosphorus resources is attracting more and more attention in the world. The production of yellow phosphorus, one of the major downstream products of phosphoric ore, is affected by the supply and demand of phosphoric ores. At present, the global yellow phosphorus production is highly concentrated, mainly in China, the US, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands and Vietnam. The production of yellow phosphorus is gradually concentrated in developing countries where have abundant of phosphorus resources.

The global yellow phosphorus consumption is distributed in the major production countries and major import ones. Thermal phosphoric acid still takes the largest consumption share while phosphorus trichloride is playing a more and more important role in global yellow phosphorus consumption. Is the situation in the past few years the same as present? What are the differences between major players in the world? How will the future scenario will be in the world and in different countries?

What is the situation of major yellow phosphorus exporters in the world, such as China, Kazakhstan, Netherlands and the US? How about the major import countries, such as Germany, Japan, Poland, Brazil, India, Italy and France?

After some major countries restricted the export of yellow phosphorus, what is the situation of the global yellow phosphorus industry in 2010 and 2011, and what will it be in the near future?

To answer these questions, CCM International has carried out research on global yellow phosphorus market. Besides, you will also find answers to the following questions in this report:
  • What is the situation of global phosphoric ore supply and how does it influence the production of yellow phosphorus?
  • What is the production situation of yellow phosphorus in major countries in 2010 and in the following five years, as well as policies.
  • How is the demand of the world's yellow phosphorus?
  • Which is the consumption pattern of yellow phosphorus? How will it evolve in the future?
  • What changes have taken place to the global yellow phosphorus flow from 2008 to 2010? How about the future situation?
  • What are the opportunities in the yellow phosphorus industry in the future?
