Barite Concentrate and Barite Weighting Material Market Research in CIS
This report is currently available in Russian language only. However, we can provide an English version of the report within 3 weeks after receiving a payment.
The report is devoted to investigation of current standing of barite concentrate and weighting material market in CIS countries and forecast of its development in conditions of the financial-economic crisis. The report is composed of 9 Sections, contains 142 pages, including 46 Figures, 56 Tables and Appendix.
Methodologically this work was implemented as a 'desk' research. As information sources to be analyzed we used data of Federal Statistic Service of Russia (Rosstat), Federal Customs Service of Russia, official domestic railage statistic of JSC RZhD (former Ministry of Railway Transport of Russia), CIS Inter-State Statistic Committee, official statistic and customs services of Ukraine, Kazakhstan Statistic Agency, sectoral (industrial) and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of companies, data from web-sites of company-producers and consumers of soda ash, as well as own InfoMine database.
The first Section of the report is devoted to world market of barite. The Section presents data on reserves of barite in the world, dynamics of barite production (1999-2009), leading country-producers of the products, prices and world consumption of barite.
The second Section of the report presents data on mineral resources base of barite in CIS. It describes main deposits of barite in Russia, Kazakhstan, Georgia.
The third Section of the report describes available processes of production of barite concentrate and weighting materials, their features, as well as requirements, imposed on quality of the products.
The fourth Section of the report is devoted to analysis of production of barite concentrate in CIS. The Section presents data on volumes of production of barite concentrate in 1998-2009, traces dynamics of the production, describes technological standing of main producers of barite concentrate in Russia and Kazakhstan.
The fifth Section is devoted to description of current standing of main producers of barite weighting material. Besides, the Section presents data on volumes of barite weighting material production in Russia in 2005-2009.
The sixth Section analyses foreign trade operations in barite products (barite concentrate and weighting materials) in Russia, Kazakhstan and other CIS countries in 2001-2009. It presents data on volumes of exports and imports of the products, estimates regional pattern of the supplies.
The seventh Section of the report presents data on prices on barite products at domestic market of Russia and Kazakhstan, as well as analyses data on dynamics of export-import prices on the products in latest years.
The eighth Section is devoted to consumption of barite concentrate and weighting materials in Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. The Section presents supply-demand balance of the products, estimates sectoral pattern of consumption of barite concentrate and weighting materials, describes main consumers and end-uses of the products.
The ninth, final Section is devoted to forecast of production of barite products in CIS up to 2015.
The Appendices presents addresses and contact data of main producers and consumers of barite products.
This all allowed the authors to draw picture of actual standing of barite concentrate and weighting material market in CIS/Russia and its prospects.
