Sustainability is Driving Innovation in Nonwovens Technology
Sustainability is high on the agenda of EDANA (the European Disposables and Nonwovens Association). EDANA is the owner of INDEX, a trade fair and conference for the nonwovens industry and the host of the INDEX Innovation Awards. This report focuses on the nominations for the awards at the 2011 edition of the fair which will be held during April 12-15, 2011. In particular, it focuses on the contenders in the categories of best developed sustainable process or management practice, nonwoven roll goods, and finished products. The report also mentions products which have been highlighted specifically for their contributions to sustainability.
