Select Group Limited provides food catering and management services in Singapore, Malaysia, and the People’s Republic of China. The company caters for Corporate Events, Weddings, home Parties, Outdoor Parties, and Special Festives. The company operates in three divisions that include Institutional Catering, Food Catering, and Food Retail.

Institutional Catering division engages in the provision of food management services to its customers, as well as the operation and management of staff cafeterias. Food Catering division provides events catering services for corporate, community, and private functions to commercial customers and public agencies, as well as daily meal services to workplaces and family units. Food Retail division operates food court stalls and public cafeterias. As of June 30, 2004, it operated 58 food establishments, which included both food retail outlets and institutional catering staff cafeterias.

The company provides total food solutions to working professionals in various industries and sectors. It provides one-stop food services that compromise of on-site cooking or central kitchen processing catering from breakfast, lunches, tea breaks, dinners to suppers in Singapore. The company serves a variety ranging like Chinese, Muslim, Western, Indian and Vegetarian. The company’s Select program has been appointed by major multinational corporations in the electronics, semi-conductor and manufacturing sectors, hospitals, hotels, retail shopping malls, schools and institutes that provides food for management and staff.

The Company has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary, Select Food Services Pte., Ltd. in Singapore. The main activities of the subsidiary is to provide food and beverage services.

In December 2007, the company has incorporated two wholly owned subsidiaries, Select Institutional Catering Pte., Ltd. and Select Catering Services Pte., Ltd. in Singapore. The main activities of The Subsidiaries are to provide food and beverage services.

In January 2008, the company has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary, Stamford Quickserve Pte., Ltd. in Singapore. The Subsidiary would provide food and beverage services, and would engage in food retail.

In July 2009, Select Group Ltd. announced that the company has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary, Universal Dining Pte. Ltd. in Singapore.

History

The company was founded in 1991. The company was formerly known as Select Food & Beverage Pte, Ltd. and changed its name to Select Catering Services Pte, Ltd. in 1997. Further, it changed its name to Select Catering Services Limited in 2004 and to Select Group Limited in November 2007.
