Turkiye Halk Bankasi A.S. provides banking services to corporate, commercial, entrepreneur, small business, and retail customers primarily in Turkey. The company offers various services comprising consumer and retail banking, tradesman and SME banking, commercial banking, and corporate banking. Its retail banking services include deposit and overdraft accounts; housing, automobile, and general purpose loans; credit and debit cards, including KGS credit and prepaid cards for bridge and highway toll payments; payroll services; and added value services, such as automated teller machines, call center, Internet banking, mobile banking, and television banking. The company’s tradesman and SME banking services support small to medium sized companies to increase their business capacity, meet periodic financing needs, renovate machinery and equipment, and maintain their business life. These services comprise intermediation of co-operative loans; and provision of other support services, such as short term working capital loans and long term financial assistance solutions to tradesmen, artisans, and various small businesses. Its commercial and corporate banking services consist of activities and loans, which include budget loans, financial assistance loans, working capital financing, foreign trade finance, and project finance; and non-cash credit line facilities, including letters of credit and guarantees, cash management, investment banking and brokerage services, factoring, leasing, and insurance services to technology, construction, and freight industries.
