JPMorgan Says European Insurance Stocks Offer `Strong Value'

European insurance stocks offer ``strong value'' after a decline in share prices and an increase in dividends, JPMorgan Chase & Co. said, reported The Bloomberg.

``The sector offers substantial value if it can hold its dividend and cash flow,'' London-based analyst Michael Huttner wrote in a report to investors today.

The Dow Jones Europe Stoxx Insurance Index, a measure for the European insurance industry, has fallen 20 percent from May 2. This compares to a 14 percent drop for the Stoxx 600 Index, the broader regional benchmark for European equities.
