RealDolmen NV Hosts Session to Discuss Cybercrime According to BAC Report

LONDON – RealDolmen hosts a session about cybercrime at its facility in Huizingen (Belgium) on 28th November. This session will be partly presented in Dutch and English, and a renowned guest speaker from McAfee is going to present his report.

Cybercrime today is rife. Last year the number of cyberattacks in Belgium rose by 37.5%. Every day more than 66 000 new viruses are detected, 110 000 new rootkits are live every three months. No wonder cybercrime becomes a service that can be ordered. The effects of cybercrime are sometimes disastrous. 40% of the organizations in Belgium will not be able to recover after a cyberattack.

At the same time, classical endpoint security solutions (anti-virus and firewall) do not give 100% protection to computers and systems anymore. Operating and net income fell below zero, ending up EUR (12.2) M and EUR (14.9) M, respectively. Quarterly results for the current year are still unavailable. Belgium remains company’s main target market with 83% share in total revenues. France contributes 13%, Luxemburg adds 4%. RealDolmen Services & Solutions segment generates 72% of all revenues, while Infrastructure products bring 28%. Within Services & Solutions segment, Professional Services accumulate 77% and Business Solutions are responsible for 23% of revenues.
